The Connect Day 2021

October 16 at TAREE!

The Connect Day is a day of community, inspiration, ideas, equipping and leadership development.

The theme of the Connect Day in 2021 is refresh and reorient. Refresh is a recognition of the unique burden that 2020 has placed on people and reorient is about the unique opportunity to step back from our usual ways of ministry and to ask again the why.

The whole day is about being inspired to find our position again, see the new horizons and be equipped to take some practical steps. To refresh and reorient. We invite you to connect with other children and family ministry leaders and local churches in your region. We believe those connections strengthen each of our local faith communities as we encourage, support and share ideas.

Whether you are a volunteer or in a paid role, Sunday kids program leaders, volunteering in kid’s clubs, playtimes, SRE teachers, holiday programs or intergenerational ministries there will be something for you.

This year the 2021 Connect Day will take place across 12 locations with a mixture of locally facilitated and video content. Leaders under 18 years of age come free who you could invite to share the day with you. Leaders under 18 will still need to register to attend.

October 16 TAREE

There will be input from Christina Embree from Refocus Ministry who will help us think about the way forward in ministry with children and their families. Alongside the inspiration will be 3 different workshops to equip you, giveaways, laughter and food to enjoy too.
