The Connect Day 2022

What do we see from the world changing event of the past 2 years? Where should we be directing our eyes and what should we be looking for in 2022?

If we can change the way we see things then the things we see will change.

The theme for Connect Day 2022 is ‘See’

READY TO REGISTER  or read on to find out more

We want to gather together to direct our vision towards what God is doing in and through our faith communities. To see opportunities for justice and evangelism amongst children and their families. To help each other see what new things God is doing and what might be possible if we encourage and equip each other to step into what God is doing.

Connect 2022 is happening across NSW during 2022.

Check out the list of locations to find the nearest venue for you. (Connect for 2022 has already happened in Southern Sydney, Greater West for Christ, Mid North Coast, Western Districts, Sydney North and Northern Beaches.)

If you would like to be part of a team that helps make Connect Day happen in your region please contact Drew dharrison@nswactbaptists.org.au

There will be 3 workshops:

Genuinely including kids with additional needs – seeing kids with additional need truly welcomed in your ministry context

It’s not just a game – seeing the why behind the what of ministry

Gen Alpha the content creators- practical ideas to help kids carry the big God story

At least one of these workshops will be available at each site. All participants will receive access to video resources of all three workshops to use in their own context.

And of course the day will include fun and food and time to connect and encourage one another.

The day is being designed to cater for anyone who wants to be part of the shaping of the future of ministry with, for and from kids and their families. Including both paid and volunteer leaders involved in Sunday kids’ programs, Playgroup, Kids’ Clubs, Holiday Programs SRE and intergenerational ministry.

We invite you to connect with other children and family ministry leaders and local churches in your region. We believe those connections strengthen each of our local faith communities as we encourage, support and share ideas.

See below for the locations:
